Warm welcome upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha town.
After breakfast, we drive to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch. The park is renowned for its large elephant population and baobab-dotted landscapes. Enjoy afternoon game drives spotting elephants, lions, leopards and more.
Today you'll spend a full day exploring Tarangire National Park. The park's diverse habitats support a wide variety of animals, from massive elephant herds to tree-climbing lions and elusive leopards. All meals will be served at the lodge.
After breakfast, we continue into the Ndutu area, shifting our focus to the great migration. Upon arrival you'll enjoy game drives searching for resident wildlife and the massive herds of wildebeest and zebra that characterize the migration.
You'll spend the next three days enjoying game drives near the great migration, exploring Lake Ndutu and its surrounding areas. This is prime time to witness predator-prey interactions as lions, cheetahs and other predators follow the massive herds. Each day brings new wildlife viewing opportunities.
After Ndutu, you'll cross into the Serengeti and spend three days enjoying game drives in Southwest Serengeti. The vast plains offer unparalleled wildlife viewing opportunities as you search for the part of the migration resident in the area, along with resident predators and other wildlife.
After breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for spectacular game drives on the crater floor. This extinct volcano embraces 100 square miles teeming with lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo and many more species - your best chance to spot the Big Five in one place. Later, drive to Karatu for overnight.
After breakfast, drive back to Arusha for lunch before transferring to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Big Five safari adventure.
